Darren Fletcher set to take charge of Man Utd vs Villareal after club decide to sack Solskjaer

Darren Fletcher is expected to take charge of Manchester United’s champions league clash against Villareal on Tuesday after the club’s board decided to sack Ole Solskjaer following an embarrassing 4-1 loss against Watford.

The Norwegian’s future was discussed during an emergency board meeting on Saturday evening.

Joel Glazer, Man United’s co-chairman reportedly had the final say and decided it was in the club’s best interests to sack Ole Solskjaer.

The decision of the club to sack Ole Solskjaer was reported by Fabrizio Romano via a series of tweets.

Zinedine Zidane is currently the favourite to become Man United’s next manager.
