Manchester United’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been under immense pressure ahead of Red Devil’s trip to Watford after his side’s humiliating home defeats to arch-rivals Manchester City.
There have been calls for Ole Solskjaer’s sack as Manchester United currently sit sixth on the league winning just one of their last five league games.
The likes of Brendan Rodgers, Zinedine Zidane are already been touted as candidates to replace the Norwegian.
However,ex-Manchester United player Park Ji-Sung believes Ole Solskjaer deserves praise for restoring the spirit to Old Trafford and should be given until the end of the season to fight for his job.
“It’s been 3 years for Solskjaer as a manager and I believe that this will be the defining season for him,in terms of whether he continues at the club.
I think that he deserves credit for what he’s done at United, and deserves to fight for his job until the end of the season but he needs to show he can continue after that.
He did well to bring the old United spirit and culture back to us.
‘Therefore,I believe we should wait until the end of this season and then see.But if he can’t show (he’s good enough),it will be difficult for him to continue’ Park Ji-Sung added.
