A Michigan woman is facing theft charges after a Walmart employee discovered she had stolen more than $1,000 through self-checkout.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, TeddyJo Marie Fliam, 34, was caught not scanning items at her local store by a loss prevention worker in July. After TeddyJo denied stealing and left the store, the employee looked at the surveillance footage and discovered TeddyJo had stolen more than $1,000 worth of items since April by not scanning them through self-checkout.
She was arrested on Sept. 29 and charged with first-degree retail fraud. Chile… Walmart is cracking down on petty theft!
